Gemini Bridges are robust twin sandstone bridges that are a popular four-wheel drive destination near Moab City. Unlike most arch viewpoints, this trail leads to the top of the bridges where you can walk across them and see down into Bull Canyon below.  These two bridges are named after the Gemini twins of Roman mythology, Castor and Pollux.  Castor and Pollux were inseparable in life, and when they died were placed in the heavens as twin stars so they could be together forever.  The two rock spans, like the Gemini twins, are forever joined.

The simple four-wheel drive trail is a scenic and fun excursion that ends with a quiet visit.  A local favorite!  There are no guardrails or fences so extreme caution is needed while exploring the area. Unfortunately, two people have fallen to their deaths while trying to jump the narrowest portion of the gap between the bridges. The east, or outer bridge, has an opening that is 85 feet (25 m) high by 44 feet (13 m) wide. The inner bridge has an opening that is 60 feet (18 m) high by 67 (20 m) feet wide.
